The Disney Gallery Reopens in a New Location; ‘Enchanting the Classics’ is the Theme of the Inaugural Show in Former Bank of Main Street
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2009) – The Disney Gallery reopens Oct. 2 in its new home near Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland.  The first art exhibit, “Enchanting the Classics,” will focus on how the artists of Walt Disney Imagineering have kept beloved Disneyland attractions, such as Jungle Cruise, Submarine Voyage and Pirates of the Caribbean, fresh and exciting over the years with enhancements and surprises. (more)

Customize Your Asian Rice Bowl! Guests Select Ingredients at New Lucky Fortune Cookery in Disney’s California Adventure
The colorful new Lucky Fortune Cookery, debuting Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, is the newest addition to the variety of dining options at Disney’s California Adventure park.  Located in the Pacific Wharf section of the park, Lucky Fortune Cookery offers guests the opportunity to create their own Asian Rice Bowl meals and enjoy them in an outdoor plaza. (more)

Maleficent the Dragon Joins ‘Fantasmic!’
A spectacular new dragon joins “Fantasmic!,” stretching as high as 45 feet tall and breathing great plumes of fire on the Rivers of America at Disneyland.  Performances of the show have been extended nightly through Sept. 7, and will continue weekends – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – as well as during holiday periods through the end of 2009.  (more)

Time-saving Disney’s FASTPASS Gives Disneyland Resort Guests an Alternative to Waiting in Line for Popular Attractions
Disney’s FASTPASS, in use at Disneyland Resort since 1999, is a virtual queuing program for certain popular attractions, a service that allows guests at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure to receive a voucher listing a computer-assigned boarding time. The popular program was first used during the 1999 holiday season on “it’s a small world holiday.” Disney’s FASTPASS options on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin” quickly followed in early 2000, and additional attractions have been added to the program since then.
